Thank You for a GREAT 2010 Show!
A message from Stephanie Moran: "The show has now come to an end for 2010, and we, with the Fort Worth Gem & Mineral Club, have stopped to catch our breaths finally. Before we tally up the numbers, I wanted to say a big THANK YOU! Thank you to those who helped us make this show possible, and thank you to those who visited us at the show this year. We hope everyone that came had a wonderful time, enjoyed themselves, and found something (if not many things) they loved there. We appreciate those who took the extra moment to fill out our survery and help us to find a way to make the show better year by year. A very special thanks goes out to my co-show chairman, Martha Phillips, for helping me to keep it all together. As we've discovered this year, you should always "Expect the Unexpected!". We never had so much fun coordinating an event like this before, and I have to say that having her at my side made this a much more enjoyable event to plan! Our Gem Shows
Each year, we present a gem, mineral, fossil and jewelry show for not only our members to enjoy, but the entire DFW metroplex and beyond. We see large numbers of visitors during this two day show span and thrive on presenting a successful and enjoyable show. For the 2010 show, we're adding in a few extra fun things to look forwards to. We will have our regular door prizes that will be presented through out both days, and of course we still have the big raffle prize, which is a cathedral amythest again this year. However, we've now added a door prize drawing that will take place every 30 minutes for CHILDREN! We will also have a mini raffle for those who take the time to fill out our show survey form. If you fill it out completely, you are then entered into a drawing for a nice set of bookends made from very nice granite. We are also planning to have a few interesting displays there for folks to take a gander at. Perhaps, this year you will join us for our annual show and see what we have to bring to the table!
