Sterling joined the club in 2023, and has enjoyed learning more about rocks from all the experienced members in the club. He has a strong interest in making things from wood, metal, leather and glass, and joined to take as many classes as he could. Now that he has been elected to the education role he wants to ensure those classes that got him hooked are available and easy to access to current and future members.
If you have any interest in learning a new skill please reach out and he will find a teacher for you.
When not at the club Sterling runs a machining and prototyping business, and takes care of his two cats. He loves talking about how things are made, so come up and talk shop at the next meeting!
